Nobody understood Warhol . His work was a form of prayer . He is to christianity what rothko is to judaism . Warhol found a heaven on earth , even on this earth of "shallowness" . It is a considerable accomplishment . He is the last relevant "christian" painter of all. Remember he did all those Da Vinci drawings of the last supper?
